  • The property is worth a visit, but in hindsight the Board to stop if you're passing through and visit without booking a tasting with visit. Us having seen other chateau far more structured with only 9 €, we believe that the visit with tasting of 3 goblets at 18 € is not better comparison, indeed! To improve English course, it was hard to follow all the explanations! Not even a grand cru classé in my opinion should lower costs! Beautiful terrace and the whole complex!

  • Had just finished a wine tasting at Chateau de Ferrand nearby and we were looking for a place to have lunch. It was after 2 in a rural area and we had passed this place on the way to our tasting. They...  more »
  • on the recommendation of my host (see: B & B CoteBordeaux, Joe) with a good friend English we went this place in the middle of the vineyards of Saint Emilion, in the proximity of the prestigious Chateau Cheval Blanc and just in front of Pomerol... the restaurant is called red terrace and the prominent strikes in the first light! The restaurant space is vast and is continuous from the outside with a spectacular view to the vineyards and his campaign! the wine card offers some very good wines in the same Castle and elsewhere. the minor are prepared with much care about the appearance of the dish and the taste! I there was three times! and each visit was a Regal!

  • The food is excellent, out of 4-5 meals we had in St. Emillion this was the best. Especially the special menu is reasonably priced at €16 for a main, and my pork was exceptional. The atmosphere overlooking the vineyard is really special and service good as well. Overall a must stop if you're in the region
  • Beautiful estate and terrace restaurant. The food was outstanding and the views were good enough to match!
  • Super home, the guided tour is top, tasting very well, and the table is very good.

  • Instead, the framework and gastronomy are very nice. The private tour was very interesting on any point of view with the simple explanations of Claudia. For a second time at the restaurant Les Terrasses red, it was still a treat with a friendly and caring staff. Only downside: after a private visit to 4, then several purchased bottles, I find regrettable q' a gesture of goodwill is not achieved during the meal with a bottle at the invoiced restaurant 98 euros (i.e. double the price of its value in just before direct sales - Château La Dominique 2009 at 53 euros). Finally if you take wine at the restaurant it will be almost 50% more expensive than for direct sale on the field. Hoping that this attention be considered during the next time or that the purchase of bottle is possible for direct sale and then just tasting then at the restaurant.

  • The visit to the Château and wine tasting commented on in Spanish by Claudia excellent, highly recommended.
