  • The lighthouse is situated at the far end of the island and is worth the effort to visit. There's plenty of parking nearby and opportunities to walk or cycle around the peninsula. There's a small fee ...  more »
  • We enjoyed our visit to the lighthouse. We did not actually go up it but it is possible to do so but I expect the views from there are not that different from those at surface level. It is a nice area...  more »

  • The wild west of Ile d'Oléron. Lighthouse perched on the promontory. Hotel, crêpe stalls, big waves.
  • J adore
  • Place of the island. The sea continues to grow on the cliffs. Wonderful view. Free under 6 years old. 3rd by adults. Attention to the long lines prefer the morning.

  • Tourist place with superb landscape. The Lighthouse is worth the visit, and if the number of contracts put you off, take the time to discover the garden around. Parking is vast, but it can also come on foot by the path of the littoral (car parks) or bike by bicycle. However, flee "merchants of the temple", which fortunately disappear every year. Better to buy his memories to the Saint Pierre Leclerc, at more reasonable prices.

  • The Lighthouse is very friendly, there is something for everyone. The gardens in the shape of the wind rose, with 4 pools different (arrangements of flowers or trees) a little further, lock to fish, very interesting with explanations, as well as the ability to get at the water's edge. On the other hand, too many people and not had the courage to line up in the lighthouse, too bad for the view. Huge parking available, very touristy with animations and stores memory.
