Domaine National de Saint-Cloud, Saint-Cloud

Inspirock Rating:
3.7/5 based on 75+ reviews on the web
Domaine National de Saint-Cloud offers 460 hectares of gardens, park, and woodland, and it represents one of the best examples of a classical garden. This venue was once a privilege of Philippe d’Orléans, the younger brother of Louis XIV, but no longer boasts a château, which was destroyed in a fire in 1870. However, you can still stroll about the grounds that burst at the seams with inspiring natural fixtures.

Designed by Le Nôtre, Domaine National de Saint-Cloud is also one of the most attractive parks to be found in the outer Paris area and has been dubbed with the "Outstanding Garden" label. Although an oasis of calm amidst the busy city, the park also holds a number of cafés and restaurants where you can grab a bite to eat and rest your feet. • A very large park that alternates the wide avenues, large lawns and wooded areas, beautiful fountains and a nice view of Paris. What to walk, run or a picnic very close to Paris.

  • Beautiful large park, but is not prepared for visitors, at least not today. Site without information or guidelines for visitors.

  • For the 8th edition of the Grand fireworks on the field of St. Cloud, we attended a spectacle. Nearly 2 hours of musical pyrotechnic show of exceptional quality. It is the largest fireworks in Europe both by the duration and its quality.
