  • The showrooms in the lighthouse give little explanations on the lighthouse, and especially information about the history of the links between the island and the Mainland. On the other hand, the Museum is very didactic. You will know everything about the operation of lighthouses and the markup with video terminals of Jammy on the show "It's not rocket science".

  • We must have the courage to climb the 247 steps but what a view! In low season, not much world so very nice. The Museum downstairs is very informative and helps to understand the interest of the headlights for the young and old. The shop offers a really well-stocked bookstore and various souvenirs. Very good value for money for this visit (lighthouse and Museum) for which we paid 6.5 euros per euro and 3.5 euros per children. To do it without hesitation.

  • A nice touristic location, the lighthouse provides an interesting view of the west side of Île-de-Ré and the ocean.
  • Worth the 200+ steps to the top for the excellent views
  • Belle vue. Un peu cher
  • Staircase is so pretty
  • Beautiful view at the top of the lighthouse. Very beautiful staircases in the lighthouse to take beautiful photos... beautiful beach also with the walls and fixtures of pebbles made by tourists. At the top of the lighthouse you won't find Castagnet family...
