  • We went to the lighthouse walk with our baby in her stroller! The Park is perfectly accessible to the sea behind. Then we let our baby with her grandparents to mount the top of the lighthouse. We paid € 3.20 per adult. After having mounted the almost 260marches (equivalent to 15 floors as noted in the lighthouse) here we are at the top where the view is breathtaking clear day! Cover you because there is a sacred water and high wind! The panorama is magnificent and it is a nice reward after such an effort ;) Very friendly and affordable restaurants are a short walk from the lighthouse as well as souvenir shops. Free parking and public toilets are a few meters from the lighthouse also. Only problem: no changing table in the restaurant and the public to change baby but put toilet other than that great time spent with family. I highly recommend!

  • Pretty Park accessible with strollers, two three stairs to manage but that's okay. The view is beautiful

  • A nice touristic location, the lighthouse provides an interesting view of the west side of Île-de-Ré and the ocean.
  • Worth the 200+ steps to the top for the excellent views
  • Belle vue. Un peu cher
  • Staircase is so pretty
  • Beautiful view at the top of the lighthouse. Very beautiful staircases in the lighthouse to take beautiful photos... beautiful beach also with the walls and fixtures of pebbles made by tourists. At the top of the lighthouse you won't find Castagnet family...
