  • Yes, there are other caves and some much bigger. So long as you accept that this is a small cave, it is well worth visiting if you are in the area. Our guide did a perfect job of explaining it all to ...  more »

  • Beautiful small cave with prehistoric engravings (this isn't a reproduction). The visits are in small group (maximum 12 people), it is strongly advised to book. The guide presents really good prints with different sets of light. The environment around the cave is superb (small village along the cliff). Next, troglodyte in free access. to wait for the visit of the cave, small museum with many fossils and representations of the pre-historic engravings

  • Fantastic Guide. First of the cave carvings i have seen so i cant judge against other ones in the area. Good lighting in the cave which they use to emulate how the paintings would of been viewed when first completed. Takes about an hour between going on the tour and having a poke around the museum and lookout point in the caves up the mountain.
  • Do not visit with small cave. My son said 3 times "her" to show me what he saw and we we're made exclude. Necessarily the guide could not agree. (At each the, she was annoyed and stopped) We had time to hear the explanation on the flat ceiling of the cave and two first "engravings", so the guide zero tolerance! I was shocked by his "won't do, I would ask you out" 😮

  • A unique experience to a few kilometres from one of the most beautiful village of France: La Roque-Gageac. This small cave open to the public in the Perigord.

  • Interesting visit that includes troglodytic habitat on the rocks (don't miss the troglodytic loft), a small museum and visit guided to the cave to see the engravings in the cave.
