Les Gorges de la Jordanne, Saint-Cirgues-de-Jordanne

(120+ reviews on the web)
Wildlife Area
Les Gorges de la Jordanne were carved over the centuries by volcanic activity to form a depth of almost 60 m (200 ft). Walk the 4 km (2.4 mi) round trip wooden path that runs along the river, around steep cliffs, and below the overhanging forest of the gorge. Children and adults enjoy the floating dock, the Japanese bridge, the suspended high arch bridge, and the first lock bridge that crosses the river with views of the highest waterfall, Maziey Creek, and the colorful banks that cause sound to echo.
