The House of Saint Chinian wines is a wonderful showcase for this appellation that deserves to be known. The former study of notary TRENET was perfectly adapted to its new use and staff are particularly attentive and at the service of the visitor by responding with patience and skill to all questions and offering excellent products for tasting. An excellent operation of promotion.

House wines of the appellation chinian, very large choice of wines, possibility to taste the wines before you buy, animations. Not hesitate, turn by the roads that surround the vineyard and you will arrive at the House of St Chinian wines, you can come with your family, alone, for business... Former home of Charles Trenet... A whole story... CHARLES TRENET at chinian in January 1911 Lucien Trenet, notary native of Perpignan, supports the notariat chinian, currently House of wines, succeeding master LAUCAGNE in retirement. In 1909 Lucien Trenet had married Marie-Louise CAUSSAT, a Narbonne young 19 years, living with her parents in Narbonne, 2, avenue of Marcorignan, near the train station. In 1910 was born at the same address a first son named Antoine. Living alone in the notary chinian found the weekend his wife Marie-Louise and his son Antoine in Narbonne. May 18, 1913, a Sunday, Ms. Caussat-Trenet gives rise, in the family home, a second son who will be baptized Louis, Charles, Augustin, Claude. Since birth, Charles, refusing any bottle, will be powered 16 months by a Catalan nurse of Perpignan, marked emphasis, named Jeanne, hired by the notary Trenet. In July 1913, two months after the birth of Charles, Ms. Trenet accompanied by her two children and the nanny Jeanne joined the study of chinian. Chinian, small town in the Midi wine so prosperous, little Charles, paraded by her nanny Jeanne, grows up without stories, lulled by the violin from his father, a musician and music lover. Life flows happy and yet... In January 1915 the Father Lucien is mobilized and must join his unit in Perpignan. The study is entrusted to the cleric. Ms. Trenet says: "twenty-two months chinian, Nanny and two children who were playing on the Boardwalk, domestic difficulties, my inexperience between good - handyman incapable and a dedicated but irascible, nurse the notarial House, great cold barracks, without any comforts, so difficult to hold, not gas or electricity, but lamps to oil and Pigeon lamps , terrible things in metal chrome flame flickering and smoky, finally, daily life with his homework, sorrows, joys [...]. I did our luggage and went live in Narbonne with my parents with my two sons." Narbonne Jeanne nanny was dismissed to the dismay of Charles. He'll have two years and going to live now between his brother Antoine, his mother Marie-Louise, maternal grandmother and grandfather Augustin Caussat, merchant of wood, Carpenter and Cooper improvised from 1914. Several workers were working in the new cooperage in Narbonne. One of them was a singer and sang the Marseillaise. It was Auguste Affre Opera, native of chinian. Charles Trenet wrote: "the young and pretty Marie-Louise Caussat-Trenet, pulls one refers on his fluffy past to track"always infallible"the beautiful Benno Vigny of Commercy in Lorraine, writer of theater and film, man of spirit and culture that she had known"secretly"in 1917 at Narbonne City Hospital where he was treating a war to a leg injury" ", and where the grandmother Caussat was head nurse." Narbonne Trenet children are raised by grandparents Caussat, helped by the unmarried aunt Emilie of Ouveillan came live in Narbonne. In 1918, Caussat grandmother died and grandfather Auguste went to marry a tobacco tobacconist in Toulouse. From now on, it's aunt Emilie which will ensure the stewardship of the family, 2 Street Marcorignan. November 11, 1918, is finally the armistice. Demobilized in spring 1919 Lucien Trenet, after kissing his children in Narbonne, returns to the study of chinian. In September 1919 that accompanied aunt Emilie Antoine and Charles go to fairly moved chinian. Dad is at Saint-Chignan and me at the end of a childhood I see already which juts a sullen and poignant world let's hold hands, big brother here is the alley of plane trees, so we get that is on the alert in the House to the Moon signs? We will finally meet dad, mythical [...], hero of the Marne, the sum and Flanders, King soldier and notary at Saint-Chignan, Daddy! Dad, Dad didn't disappointed me he was clean-shaven, dad as he said, "to the American". He had a bit of girth but a good smile a little fat. It was more like once in the old photographs. There, my faith is life, lost his goatee to war!

A very wide choice. Bottles at the producer price. A friendly welcome. The opportunity to taste. Very nice discovery. Franco shipping 400 euros. You don't need to tour of the producers during the holiday and provide room in the car for the boxes.
