  • Honestly, I came here when it opened many years ago and I had at the time really wasn't packed (Museum quite empty in the end). Today, I tried telling me that the site had of the grow since and that he probably had to qualify my remarks, but frankly there is nothing... On the contrary, the facilities took a big hit of old and are poorly maintained (many interactive panels did not work and were very degraded). Museography remained in its own juice, with a technology that could have a side in 2005, today modern is completely overwhelmed... Visit 3-4 rooms without interest or Museum value (a few panels, a few reconstructions of species and movies...), a park not specially raised and maintained with here and there a few meagre reconstructions of Neanderthal camps outdoors, all for max 1 hour tour and especially 10 euros per adult! I think it's shameful limit at this price... BRE really no interest, do not waste your time or your money, it's worth the shot. On the sector and to stay in the archaeological theme (go from the Paleolithic to the Neolithic / Roman Empire!), instead go to the mill of the Fa of Barzan to discover a museography of quality and a course rich and interesting, all for the modest sum of 5 euros per adult. You will not be disappointed!

  • One year on I feel compelled to write another review. What was magnificent last year has rapidly deteriorated. All the electronics no longer work, the face morphing feature has disappeared, so many el...  more »
  • A journey in time for family, friends, to (re) discover the traces of our history. The Paleosite offers a diversity of both fun and cultural backgrounds. You won't want to get out of this time travel in the company of Neanderthals, to the discovery of a way of life, a Neolithic kitchen.

  • Rather for the little ones
  • One of the few sites dedicated more particularly a Neanderthal, activities can be proposed, without obligation. Workshops are far from the usual tourist clichés, and strive to include only the last knowledge by consensus. From April to October are held, once by me, (free) lectures, a Friday night. You can then dine on booking and will be disappointed, nor by the quality and quantity... What about the Director and staff? A passionate, friendly and affordable despite their immense skills and knowledge team. The site host, once a year, a round of the Championship of Europe of prehistoric arms, you can follow with the tasting of a pig on a spit... Memorable!

  • A good time for the big and the small. Nice animations. The place is worth a visit

  • Place to do absolutely and for all the family. Between the Museum, updates in situations outside and by the time the demonstrations (make the fires, hunting...), there is everything to understand the period of Neanderthal man and Cromagnon. However in order to attend demonstrations, avoid the days of strong inflows, if not, it can be difficult to see... The majority of the site is asseccible and well thought for people with reduced mobility.
