This snake fits perfectly into the landscape and does not alter the view that one has on the estuary (form that echoes that of the bridge). Same destiny is to blend a day into its environment since it is intended to be invaded by vegetation and marine life. The walk on the embankment is enjoyable, so it's really a place to visit!
Suivant les marées les méandres de ce magnifique serpent apparaissent et disparaissent. Superbe panorama de l'estuaire ! more »According to the tides the meanderings of this beautiful snake appear and disappear. Superb panorama of the estuary!
Été avec epal sentais super et il faut aller à mare basse et ses super jolies et surtout inpressionant more »Been with epal felt great and go to low and its super pretty and especially inpressionant
Certainly worth a look! Extraordinary metal/plastic structure looks like the skeleton of a gigantic sea-snake. At low tide, you can walk right up to it, even go inside the "ribs". Children love it, photographers love it. Nearby, there's also a great view on the major shipyards across the Loire estuary, with several huge cruise-ships being built (sometimes warships, too). Lastly, there's always the Saint-Nazaire bridge to look at, although that's not the highlight of the visit. Take a look if you're in the area!
Nice sculture available to everybody. I recommend yo go to see it on low tide, we can then appreciate a walk on wet sand along the way.
It's impressive and certainly worth visiting
Well worth quick diversion....looks great on the beach......
