We liked everything during the visit to this beautiful village. A beautiful Abbey, a museum which is well worth a visit (very modern, exhibition really interesting thanks to high-performance audio guides and one of the few free museums). The streets are quaint with many restored houses. A little break on the terrace of groceries to taste artisanal ice cream we had the largest does well by this hot afternoon at more than 30 °.

First reason to spend a moment: the Museum is free, 'detail' rare enough to be noticed! ... More seriously, it offers up a very rich and very eventful, history through the "Chronicles of an Abbey". Medieval medicine naturally figure prominently in the same building, which once housed hospitals (recommended audioguide). Temporary exhibitions are also offered: so, right now, the Museum hosts, until October, a fragrant selection of fragrances used in traditional medicines until the nineteenth century. As well as a rich and diverse exhibition dedicated to the kite through the ages. Don't miss the medieval garden of arabo-Andalusian inspiration. Linger near the lovely fountain known as the Lamb of God, between the Angel and the dragons (the good and the bad), with its octagonal basin in stone. Made to complete a visit to the shop, where are gathered, between other objects-memories, a large number of books pertaining to the middle ages (documentary or novels). Count one to two hours for the visit. But if you take the precaution of purchase upon arrival the guide offered by the Tourist Office, you can start (or end) your visit along the "path of the Flâneur" which will allow you to discover the village in its finest aspects, its most interesting surroundings, and the secret labyrinths of streets. (Duration: one hour).

Historic site of great importance. To understand the trade. And trade at the time of the middle age

Everything that made the interest of this museum until 2016 (explanations on the evil of the ardent, work of the monks, artistic development, extension of the order of the Antonine...) was sold off, replaced by a few pompous and "interactive" presentations (mundane) Plan of places, a few disparate objects...). Regrets. I'll bring over my visiting friends in the area.
