  • The cabins of the Breuil are to see. The place is nice and it helps to understand many things. There are a lot of animals in freedom which adds a small charm.

  • Discover this place is magical! After the Trulli of Alberobello in Italy, meet in the Dordogne with nearly identical buildings, is amazing! How people located thousands of kilometers dl' have of each other they could build practically the same buildings? congratulations today to the young people who maintain this remarkable site in a beautiful environment, in a nature preserved in the middle of the geese, ducks, roosters; It is a beauty! they owe it to their parents and grandparents! my fi gni that!

  • Very beautiful fun to interact with the animals that are running around free.
  • Carine...in all senses. In three spent 17 euros for a site I visit in 30 minutes. The reconstruction of life in a Trullo.

  • Interesting and the tour is well worth it. If you're engrossed in how they're finished playing so as to be able to build something without cement or mud or something like that.

  • Great place! Great huts. To discover with your family. Lies in full nature how in a barn of our grandparents. We can have a picnic and share the food with the geese. With parking. Tables for eating. Home perfect.

Where to stay in Sarlat-la-Caneda

Chances are good that if you stay in Sarlat-la-Caneda, you'll be housed in a historical building. Many hotels and other lodgings in this medieval capital are in old mansions and structures that have existed for many centuries. While the range of choices does include a few more modern hotels, most are beautiful family-owned spots where you might expect to eat meals with the owners. It's hard to go wrong in terms of location, but staying close to the historical center is best. Also, take note that hotels in this region tend to fill up quickly in the summer, so be sure to book before you arrive.
