  • The first time we had by this point circulating through the motorway A75 "La Méridienne" from Paris to the South, it was night, and its spectacular lighting caught our attention and we decided that the next time we stop. And so it was this time. We stop at the service area that indicates Garabit Viaduct, and look at this wonderful piece of engineering. Another masterpiece of the Eiffel company. Also you can see it from below, from Saint-Flour to circulate.

  • This railway viaduct spans the gorges of the Truyère River. It can be seen from the highway, but it is better to take the national road to find out. Don't hesitate to browse the banks of the Truyère River to discover two or three small villages before returning to the highway if it is not pressed. Allow an hour to detour for through this unusual.

  • An authentic monument, a typical construction of Gustave Eiffel, in its red colour of its construction. Superb view of the rest area, a little 5 minute stop worth the effort...

  • Lovely view.
  • Very beautiful work, visible from the highway, but the best is to stop at the rest area where the view is magnificent for photo enthusiasts, there is also a shop that sells regional products
