A great place. count even when 1/2 hour walk before arriving on site. A mixture of colors just sublime and unique in France. Blacks had the chance to come the last weekend in September at the party of ochre so parking was free.

very difficult to find the place, despite the GPS, but as soon as we are, with parking at 5 euros, but stress the question of place, what a discovery => there are 2 courses, plan minimum 1 hour 30 for longer, and good shoes, because some p ortions are difficult to access, but it's like, portions, as in Monument Valley in the USA (in miniature) but really, what a joy to visit this beautiful place

We visited the Provençal Colorado, end of September 2017: we did not have time to visit the trail of ochres in Roussillon, so we advise not one over the other. And FYI, the activity is free, only parking is paid (€ 5 for a car for the day). We followed the longest two trail to visit this place (just under 4km walk, a little less than two hours with many stops). Provencal Colorado presents magnificent landscapes, must-see area is the area called "Sahara", but I really recommend you all to visit, because it offers several sights worth seeing! More the trail is mostly shaded, which is well appreciable when the Sun. However remember to take at least sports shoes, even if the place is not too rough, is not a luxury for so much! In conclusion: to see, the place is really beautiful, it would be a shame to miss out on!

    Nice scenic walk.

Very nice trail. We would recommend to do it very early or very late in the day as it can be very crowdy and tourists run all over the place without any respect for the site. There's more erosion due to tourist then due to water...

Very funny day out. The place is really worth the parking price. Best at sunset

The colorful hills here are great too look at, albeit. If visiting during the summer however, go early to avoid the heat and keep in mind the signs pointing out the danger of fire.
