  • The market is located in the heart of Royan. Many stores are also around, and the beach is only some cable market. The market is very much alive and still more the summer when we are during the tourist season where there it is in full swing. Many merchants are all around the market to flesh out it. It's in the summer you will find not only merchants selling fruit, vegetables, seafood, meats and other consumable.

  • It is a market friendly to do especially on Sundays or there is everything the newsboys autour. On the other hand, they take vacationers to Americans everything is very expensive, especially the fish! A shame. As we know that we are at the edge of the ocean. And some n hesitate not to fish or other fisheries away from home, j saw this on unions. What a shame, we found a small market to the Tremblade, or the miracle there is a small stalls at Anita, frankly do not hesitate not expensive fish in the region and all with a smile. I would return to the market of Royan, but just for a walk.

  • Place of encounter, Exchange and conviviality, authenticity and modernity, the central market of Royan is a bold architecture. Thirteen points of support support a hull in veil of reinforced concrete barely 8 cm and a diameter of 52 meters. Natural light, reflected and disseminated by bricks of glass to its top, display and signage underline the unique identity of the place. Every morning until 13: 00 pm, except on Monday, the market offers all products of the land and sea that are the hallmarks of gastronomy royannaise. The seafood, fish, shellfish, oysters, mussels, shells obviously occupy the largest area. Outside around the covered market it is the opportunity to discover the full season diversity, freshness and the quality of the products of local producers: charentais melon, asparagus of Blaye, Gironde, green garlic or "aillet", the kiwi, a fruit product in Charente-Maritime. Traders are warm and welcoming. 2 car parks are available to customers (1st half hour free). It is a must to attend without reserves to make plenty of vitamins.
