  • Superb. Visit by electric train. Paint and visit guided. Provide a pull-over. Friendly visit, it is true that we have not been full during the tourist season.

  • Amazing rock art, must see if you're in the region.
  • I found these original drawings to be beautifully detailed. Both painted on and scratched into the walls and ceiling are varried depictions of mammoths horses bison and rhinoceros that show real artistery. The thought that humans with little technology ventured so deep into this cave left me a feeling of awe and deep respect. The tour guides only speak French. If you don't understand spoken French, try to obtain and read the booklet with the description in your language beforehand to get the most from your tour. The booklets have several photo's, too. Be on time to obtain tickets and have a book or game and food for the wait in line.
  • The cave is impressive. The visit by train please to the children (if there are not too scared of the dark). The guide was passionate about prehistory and resituait paintings compared to other sites and recited not only its text. Provide a warm coat (13 ° for one hour).

  • Incredible is the distance travelled by our ancestors to paint or burn animals. You browse this distance in a small electric train without tiring! Remember to take a little jacket, hard viste 1 H at 13 ° C.
