  • Although the castle is not in very good condition, it is no less interesting. Both the historical and architectural point of view. I think it is one of the most beautiful staircase I saw in the area. And this idea to serve 2 independent parts of the castle is pretty interesting... I don't even talking about "black" stories that took place in this castle and of course the reference to Jacquou crunchiness... we have a good time...

  • Castle in ruins... ongoing renovations in recent years. Each ticket sold to contribute to its preservation. Beautiful staircase.

  • Beautiful walls, beautiful chimneys, a superb staircase, many panels, we can imagine how was building a castle. Interesting information on the history of the region. It lacks, given the current state of the monument, a note of "romantic ruins", a path that makes the Tower, a view from afar when you arrive, because in August the trees hide everything, even on the small bridge, you can see just the access door. The visit is very didactic and the stones do not transmit their soul. However, this castle is worth a visit: to participate financially in the work and to know a périgordian place far from tourism oppressing the surroundings.

  • A bit expensive for what is to be seen. But it's for a good cause...
