  • A museum around the shoe might seem very trivial, but here, the diversity of the proposed elements makes the rich and pleasant visit. It all starts with a gorgeous setting, indeed the building (convent of the visitation built between the XVII and XIX centuries) is beautiful with its superb gardens French. The visit allows us to see the many manufacturing steps of the shoe (with tools and more or less old machines, and a very interesting testimony of Mr. Kélian) it allows us to follow a historic and international shoe (all eras and all regions of the world are present) up to contemporary creations... A real good time of discovery. Bravo!

  • Visit with a school. I loved. Can be a bit less for children. Lack can be a quiz or something more educational.

  • Living in the region for many years, we enjoyed the presence of friends to finally visit this museum. We had a good time, it explains the evolution of the shoe, customs and there is a part of the Museum which is dedicated to war 39/45 and the resistance of the Vercors. Very nice visit.

  • The novels Shoe Museum is a place that I visited in 79 and I saw in March 2015. It's very interesting to see, a history of the shoe of all humanity as well as objects that chronicle a bit the 2nd World War. I would be remiss not to revisit it on my next trip to novels.

  • Worth a look. It's amazing how this look at history through the prism of the shoe. There might perhaps be more videos (it's not always convenient to read the contents of the placed labels at the bottom of window). The atmosphere is quite dark... to do not damage objects exposed.
