  • Very close to Hermione, a nice site where it is good to walk, even in winter, under the Sun. Closed to the visit to this season, but it is nice to stroll in town and admire the architecture of the buildings, some fort fine!

  • Conveniently located near the forms of refit (place where so many boats were built) along the Charente in the former residence of the commanders of the Navy under Colbert. Entering this Museum, you go back three centuries and discover many collections with the France's marine military history on three levels. Many models of ships presented, which some really impressive, will explain the military history of the arsenal of Rochefort. The explanations are clear and short enough to not be boring. Leaving the Museum, you won't have a few hundred metres you find place Colbert, the historic centre of Rochefort.
