  • Super my attention to the calves. We had farer the car down the city and climbed market and way to get to the Castle, which offers a splendid view.

  • Very nice visit to Rocamadour. This village is superb with its sanctuary and its ramparts. Actually, the slopes are steep but Oh miracle there's an elevator.

  • Not quite worth the €2 (it actually requires a €2 coin per person to get in) but it does offer the best views in Rocamadour.  more »

  • What a great French historical village. It's very fun and romantic to walk around this tiny city
  • Great day out. Lots of walking though. There is a funicular for part of it, but I lost count of the number of steps we walked up/down. Lots of places to eat too.
  • Visitng the entire town of Rocamadour is very a great experience. But ready to do a lot of uphill and downhill walking :) However one of the best places to visit is the Chateau, which gives a great view over the whole valley and the town. There is a payed entry to the Chateau - 2 EUR. Be sure to have coins, it is an automatic gate, no till with a person.
  • Great views along the walls of the chateau. Chateau is private and is not accessible to visitors.
  • No cash for access to the battlements... There is a turnstile that accepts only two euro coins... any change not visit...
