  • We visited the Museum after visiting the Utah Beach Museum. We had time, we said "why not this Museum and it then does the nearby bakery". I didn't think anything special, expecting to see the same thing as in other museums but no, nice surprise. Even the children really enjoyed this museum. He traces very well every day during the war, vehicles, scenographies with mannequins. A small notebook with questions for children, very well done. Stayed here for a long time, much more than expected, really a great discovery. It's much more concrete for children because we're talking about daily life, how we're dressed, ate, went to school, etc... the hard life of all, more focused on civilians than the military. I recommend.

  • Very nice discovery hazardous when d a walk. This museum is just fabulous to understand the life of civilians under the occupation. Very beautiful reconstituted scenes, many explanations. This museum is primarily for lovers of World War II and less to militaria enthusiasts. We stayed there more than 2 h 30 overflowing widely on the schedule of closure (more than 20 minutes). I wanted to thank the person home, because at any time, so he made us understand that he had to leave. A big thank you to the gentleman I recommend most sincerely

  • A well-designed Museum in several parts, evoking the liberation of Normandy, through the D Day. This place contains objects of epochs, and (very successful) rebuilding of a district and a guard during the liberation station. The latter remains the outstanding moment of the visit... A movie is also shown constantly... again...
