  • We go back again and again. The l'hermitage is a very sacred place to meditate and sit quietly - a simple but exquisite chapel in a cave with amazing wooden sculptures; The gorge is inspiring to walk ...  more »
  • The way our nearby August recess, we had the opportunity to visit the Gorge. First of all, to avoid the problems of parking, we parked in the parking lot for the caravans... we did well because once arrived on the 2nd car park, it was already full and we didn't want to go further by car. We continued our walk in the forest to join the Hermitage. Very nice visit refreshing within the rocks. The Chapel is intact and pious. We continue our way to reach the throat. After a steep descent, we could bathe us. The area was quiet until early afternoon, to the arrival of the toboggans. But this will be a great day, the best day for our children (16 years, 13 years and 9 years).

  • Walk to do feet and especially not by car that loses its charm. Great site, the gorges are deep and beautiful, lifting the head we see some rocks with various shapes to stop. The Hermitage is to visit it is very beautiful, the path (by above) is not common. Too bad that the Hermitage is occupied by tourist shops because it is a really great place.

  • Wonderful place. Joined a guided canyoning tour through the Gorges together with my son. Absolutely great: Nice cool water, emerald green pools, a 22ft jump from a cliff-like rock into a cataract. Exciting experience!
  • Fantastic scenery. Single lane in places with tricky passing if the road is busy
  • Beautiful view over the valley. Definitely worth the hike!
  • Spectacular, if you have a motorhome or large vehicle approach from the South and park in the car park, you can NOT drive through the gorge in a large vehicle and we did not notice any parking at the Northern end.
  • Should be on every rider's bucket list...
