Gorges de Galamus provides a narrow, scenic passage between the Aude department and the department of Pyrénées-Orientales, with the Eagle River flowing through its basin. Enjoy canyoning, hiking, photography, and exploration of the Chapel of St. Anthony of Galamus. On the interior of the gorge, the chapel clings to the rock, giving you a neat architectural experience. • Beautiful place has see a Council, take the time to make a feet, 2 small kms return that doesn't eat bread and you will take full eyes! otherwise, there are small electric shuttles at your disposal, but you miss the key views of the Gorge because the most beautiful see is... at the bottom!

  • Do and redo!, best is by bike or motorcycle to stop on the road... or even better in canyoning: done 2 times and each time it was great, it has no recall and apart from a passage where you swim it is a beginner level. I do it again!
