  • Frankly I still wonder what I saw: there are a lot of objects without any logical criteria that spoil the meaning of the visit. Fortunately the price is proportional to this (€4 adults, €2 students).

  • Small museum, prohibit entry with backpacks and not offer a place to store them, leave them on the floor without any ID next to the reception. The acquis is very discreet and thrills not the visitor.

  • The Museum of Provins and the Provinois is not completely devoid of interest, as seem to say a number of comments. On the other hand, it is certainly not the the most interesting place to visit in Provins for several reasons. First of all, the collections are presented without any visible logic. The explanatory cartridges are difficult to read, self because they are written with antiquated typography (typewriter), self because they are just pieces of paper pasted on the windows, itself because the terms used are complex. In addition, we don't really understand why some items are presented and what is the relationship with the provinois. The House welcoming the Museum, on the other hand, is very nice. On the other hand, the day I came, there was work in the yard next door, which was particularly painful. The tour lasts 40 minutes. As the price of the ticket is still relatively high, I recommend get you the pass visits.
