  • a Abbey which deserves to be visited, so it breathes power, but also the sereinité for changing times.

  • If you are passing in Provins, go visit the Church of Saint-Quiriace. So, it's true, the building is empty inside and it's very cold, but it is still beautiful and worth visiting.

  • Joining a Tuesday 3 January of strong cold in Provins, beautiful city that deserves inclusion in the Unesco but that among foreign tourists do not seem to enjoy the fair fame, it may not be a great experience, since almost all interesting places to visit are revealed, one after the other, closed (the Michelin Guide in the Ile de France only talked about Christmas and new year as closing days but in winter the openings are limited to weekends). To save the disaster-related, why still a walk allows visitors to enjoy the beauty of the place, albeit from the outside-is the Collegiate Church of Saint-Quiriace, whose doors, past the treacherous thin sheet of ice, open to visitors, letting them discover a beautiful gothic architecture from the high times, remarkably impressive with ample spaces. The impression of spirituality reminds tried days earlier in the Basilique Saint-Remi in Reims. Adding charm to the place is the plaque outside recalls how here, almost 800 years ago, Joan of arc has stopped to attend mass, together with the King. Put your feet on the floor from her trampled leaves room for the imagination.
