  • This Museum of shells and snails is * wonderful * a Museum of shells and snails... There's a German hand out which detailed and systematically through the exhibition. You can learn E.g. The Harpa snails part of her foot sacrifice when they are attacked by crabs. If the cancer eats this comes the worm back and captured the cancer. Or the cone snails shoot arrows. Who can read and want will not be bored here. Except for mussels and snails, there are two rooms with birds. The dioramas are loving, the bellows are not the latest. Also crabs, starfish, sponges and corals are exhibited. A showcase with deep-sea fishing and a display case about algae. There is a movie about the different types of fishing. Which is understandable with well-thought-out shots and explanatory drawings for small children. I personally find that every other Museum depends on Museum how the usage of the visitor. If you go through without wanting to read something, it in 5 minutes "are" and think okay stuff what is found in the sea. If you like knowledge like what is this 'Stuff' and read can and want to... Download the seating to the stay and discover a. My child (5) was scarce 5 hours in the exhibition WITHOUT knowledge of French. What is the largest starfish, which the smallest, who has the most arms... What is the coolest? The most beautiful, the smallest snail shell, all of their spiral turn clockwise, AS big as a worm can be... To mention is the incredible diversity and the care (no informational error). In Brittany, there is a similar Museum in St Malo. The shop is well sorted there is not only extra-coloured or polished Tourimuscheln, E.g., sponges, sea urchins, etc. For children, there was a surprise bag with a few shells in it free. And there in the shop a rooting box of shells, snail houses (10 units to 3,-) is the Museum of promotional cards (all sights lie in these post cards with the number) and who had such a got a discount. Bad I found only the second space, which ran on the basis of a film in continuous loop unfortunately almost always in the dark was. So you could not see there unfortunately the Vitinen.

  • This museum is very interesting, with real nuggets, the price is very correct, as a reminder it is a private museum, 40 years of travel around the world of the creator and donations, including that of Admiral.  The visit is to live with the collector, man sevensun and pationnant, information and stories will make you spend a pleasant moment.
