Aeroclub de Beziers - Cap d'Agde, Portiragnes

Very friendly people. I was flying within the hour after arriving. We received a very warm welcome. Being unfamiliar with the field, other members where always willing to help out, and they are always up for some smalltalk too. Membership fees and rental prices are very reasonable, cheap even when compared to many other clubs.

Shameful and outrageous, completely devoid of humanity. We had booked a first flight for our friend with a disability. When booking, this had of course been specified. We arrived at the place where we were received and then just at the time of boarding, the so-called president of the club simply refused to allow our friend to board the plane. While one of the pilots offered us at least to try, striving to find a solution. But that did not change the president's mind, refusing to allow our friend to board the plane. Why accept and schedule a first flight (knowing that you have been told that our friend was in a wheelchair) and not honor your performance? What violence for our friend knowing that the president did not even speak to our friend in the eyes but through us when he was right next door. No consideration and no humanity, once again this sent back to our friend the difficulty of disability, discrimination, lack of tolerance and kindness. Disappointed and shocked by this once again heartless welcome, this gentleman deserves to lose a tooth on his wing.
