  • It is not obvious to visit an artisanal vinegar factory, when you come to taste the wine. Well if it is even an obligation to find out the possibilities. Please go ahead, it's even advice. You will have very clear explanations and a tasting. So, if.

  • After seeing the vinegar factory on the road of the arrow Paulilles Cove we decided to go visit it. To get there we therefore followed a small mountain road (with incredible view of the sea and the mountain) and following the small rocks left by the owners (of the small panels by here, here, and no, arrival) we arrived at the vinegar factory. We were very warmly welcomed with a tasting (of incredible products) and a visit to the places explaining in great detail the various stages of manufacturing vinegar. The guide who received us we were encouraged to ask questions and was happy to answer. I must admit that it gave me the urge to try to do the vinegar of returning into Picardy. It is certainly a visit that I recommend and that I would be happy to repeat.

  • Thanks to trip Advisor we discovered that there was a vinegar factory to visit loan of Port-Vendres. What a great discovery! To get there, you must go through the small hamlet of cosprons (lovely also) and then borrow small paths in the mountains to finally arrive at the vinegar factory. (to not get lost, there are even small panels "over here" or "over there", it's really fun to follow) The framework is really beautiful, with views of the mountain and the sea off the vineyards all around. It is beautifully decorated with paintings on the walls and barrels of wine. We then reach the level of a little cottage where you can buy good vinegar. And next door, dozens of barrels where different Vinegars ripen, superb! We were lucky enough to have all the explanations just for us. The owners take the time to explain whence the wines with which they make their Vinegars, it works and it even has the right to a tasting at the end! And Yes, tasting as you would with wine. And it's good! Nothing to do with the piquettes you can buy at the supermarket... You can really feel the different wines that were used, what allows to use these Vinegars in lots of different dishes. Thanks again to the owner for his hospitality, his explanations and his kindness; We buy vinegar at home without hesitation!
