Trip Planner: Europe / France / Pays de la Loire / Loire-Atlantique / Port-Saint-Pere / Planete Sauvage
A safari in France seems incredible, but it does exist, at Planete Sauvage. The park spans 130 hectares (320 acres), with over 1,000 animals wandering amidst re-creations of their natural habitats. You’ll need a car to drive the 10 km (6.2 mi) trail, where you’ll see the animals up close as they wander free in their environments. A guided off-road adventure in a 4x4 will get you even closer, but the most intimate views come when you wander on foot through a replica of an Ivory Coast village and a flamingo- and monkey-filled jungle, or visit the dolphins in Marine City. Using our international travel planner, Port-Saint-Pere attractions like Planete Sauvage can form part of a personalized travel itinerary.

Planete Sauvage Reviews
Très belle journée à PLanète sauvage. Pas d'attente, restauration plus sympa que la majorité des autres parcs. Les soigneurs sont dispo et à l'écoute. Les animaux semblent en plaine forme. Seul moment... more »Very nice day at Wild Planet. No waiting, restore more fun than most of the other parks. Healers are available and ready to listen. The animals seem in plain form. One awkward moment... the space marine with dolphins 8... The animals did not look unhappy, healers are "friendly" with their animals, but I'm not sure air of time brings us towards the development of dolphinariums... The day where Planète Sauvage will remove its Dolphinarium, I would put 5 stars! But overall, a great day and a park nice and well maintained.

Lunch at the restaurant La Pirogue with servers and Chef fussing for us, lots of humor, very well presented and very copious dishes! Afternoon in truck 4 * 4 for safari, very nice way to be closer to wild animals. Small flat for shops and restaurants where prices are really strong... We definitely, children demand us it already!

They are passionate people and who do their utmost to restore the habitat of wild animals at best. Thanks to our guide Melissa which we to discover the backstage of the Park! ZOOS HAVE NOT THE DEMO BUT PRESERVATION ROLES.
If you don't like traffic jam then do not come in high season like August, before you end up complaining and give 1 star review. Overall visit was fun..kids had fun.. saw 3 cheetahs from very close and they are beautiful. Dolphin shows were amazing, kids will love it, only the big cats family is missing some cats for example : we didn't see any single male lion. There are restaurants inside the pedestrian area..there are picnic area inside the safari track.
Very good. Strongly recommend driving your own car through the park and not with the busses/trucks from the park. As always in parks the food is both crappy and extremely overpriced so recommended to bring your own food.
I had a fun day with all the animals. I suggest to bring carrots, the animals love 😍 it.You should bring food from home, there are tabels on the premises.
Loved the drive through experience compared to regular zoo. It did involve a bit of queuing, although this was in the comfort of your car. Much better viewing opportunities due to moving viewpoint. Safer animals were VERY friendly i.e. sticking heads into car. Dolphin show a spectacular added bonus.
Great place to visit. 2nd year we have being there my children love it.
