  • For golf enthusiasts, it is worth trying this field in lower Normandy, technically of medium difficulty. Manicured Greens and fairways. Some holes offer a picturesque setting on the landing areas during World War II. Each hole is named after the generals who took part in the landing (hole 1 obviously dedicated to Eisenhower). Club House neat and well stocked. Members met along the way have been friendly and supportive. Minus the provision of a golf set old and worn out to the point that, during the downswing, before hitting the ball, the head of the driver is dangerously detached from the shaft. A flaw is unacceptable given the overall excellence.

  • The fact that there is a hotel on site is a sure fire bonus as it makes getting to the golf course very easy and ensures a good breakfast before teeing off. The Mercure is of a good standard and staff...  more »

  • We didn't actually play golf here, but we met other Dutch people who did. The field looked beautiful, is quiet and hidden with beautiful views. We visited the very unknown war bunker here, which has a (gun) view over the sea. The people who were playing, only just realised there was a bunker when they saw us go in. It was beautiful, quiet and impressive.
