  • You could watch the first exhibition of the renovated Musée Camille Pissarro. It was focused on pieces themed around the Oise River from his children and friends, Camille Pissarro's work was not, but 130 items on display. Expanded exhibition space there is an explanation. Open from Wednesday from 2:00 PM on Sunday until 6 pm. You can admire the Botanic Gardens and benches in several places in the garden, which overlooks the city. While looking for a panel painting of the old road in the village called the Painters Pathway because we were staying at Auvers Pontoise, walked about two hours. Riverside Office in Pontoise show had to have hanging around though, do not know the way to the Musée P. C.. Look back and forth from the "no standing signs." the same way on the road paint, and had that direction. Walking, your feet is important. A combination ticket to the Musée Tavet-Delacour a little gain.

  • A most interesting late 15th C 'Hotel Particulier' houses the Musee Tavet. This collection includes interesting paintings, etchings and sculptures to look at. On the top floor you will find the outsta...  more »
  • Tavet Delacour Museum is located in a beautiful mansion and in the garden was restored a covered walkway. The entrance fee is ridiculous and already justified by the visit of this sumptuous building. Exhibitions are renewed at least twice a year, it's not to be missed in Pontoise

  • Beautiful works: why not better to indicate the path to access the Museum. It is seeking a toilet that I opened a door of the building and there is a Museum? It's too expensive to put a poster on the glass door of the building with the admission price, schedule and description? Why the municipilate creates t it not a way to go to discover the history of the city (the cordeliers... Museum Pissaro, Museum t...) You can be inspired by what did the city of Auxerre. Come on I wish to spend more time in your city but everything is done to make you leave, shame!

  • The Museum was free until the municipality decided to open a room more, a lick of paint, but not a lot of news works: 5 euros admission! It's a bit petty, and it won't help make culture more accessible. The site is nice, nice view on the surroundings overlooking the River (Oise). A garden, gives an impression of fallow or abandoned. The Mayor does not come often walk these gaiters in the corner... Very mixed feeling. The city deserves better. If I had to give some advice, I would say: visit the Museum Tavet, climb to the site of the 'Castle' of Pontoise (do not search, nothing of a castle...) and overlook the Pissarro Museum!

  • The route is very badly signposted for those coming by car. Current Expo without great interest. To see the Pissaro go to Marmottan.

  • Re-opened after a long period of work, the Museum offers new quality cultural space.
