Musee de l'Eau, Pont en Royans

3.6
#8 of 40 in Museums in Isere
Specialty Museum Museum
Founded to increase awareness of water conservation and water scarcity, Musee de l'Eau showcases the environment of surrounding rivers, including wildlife. The museum also illustrates the water cycle that feeds the city's sinks and showers. Sample different waters--including Louis XVI's sparkling mineral water--and stop for something more substantial at the onsite restaurant. Follow the huge pipe through the exhibits and out the other side for a view of Bourne. You can also purchase rare waters here. • So the idea of the Museum really appealed to me. Water, we can say in long! I accompany a school group and then view mitigate. All the world has love 3D as well as the tasting water movies (we did at home for Dad aillant find "water of the King" in health food store). On the other hand, lacks little being a little explanation on the photo wall... Children of course love the quiz under the dome "Thunder" and the rain and foggy parts (is there an explanatory? I saw him). I was waiting for me has more info on the marine fauna/flora, on the water pollution (waste, biological, etc). But maybe was - I too distracted by children for all to see?

  • Visit to four with two children 5 and 7 years. The kids loved the fun workshops offered by the Museum: Quiz, 'climate' passage, film projections of 10-15 min in 3D on the theme of water, the ocean, and a cartoon 3D 20000 leagues under the sea that has fascinated the children. Parents enjoyed the quality of the rooms and information presented. A free tasting of mineral waters and waters of rare sources is available in the bar to waters into the Museum: it was nice and informative. Museum to recommend to spend some quality time with your family.

  • Very interesting
  • Very friendly Museum in the Vercors, in the heart of a very beautiful village. One afternoon is sufficient for the visit. Workshop playful and curious water tasting!

  • Place where you feel fine with a nice relaxing and lively view of the Bourne. The staff is very nice. Small flat... the plates are very few filled and it's a shame...
