  • There is a cathedral at this location since Roman times, but the current building was rebuilt in Gothic style "angevin" from 1160 and until the 14th century. 100 m. long, 50 and high 30 (in the central nave), impresses even by its magnitude. The decoration of merit attention: Great Western porches carved (mid 13th c.), beautiful stained glass windows (including the exceptional stained glass of the crucifixion of the 12th), remarkable stalls of the 13th c. (the oldest in the country), paints murals (end 13th c., being restored), organ of the 18th century., etc. There really is a lot to see, and very beautiful. In short, a monument not to be missed.

  • From the Cathedral, just after a visit to the baptistery, go up to the market place to discover our Lady the great: WONDER!
