A note in a French tourist brochure has made us curious about this Château. On the day of our visit in July, we were the only visitors. For € 20,00 (2 persons, child-free) we were able to visit the garden and should arrive then to the leadership in the Castle courtyard us. The garden was everything else than maintained and in poor condition. Equipment of the gardeners were lying around everywhere, however, the to verwachsende herb did suspect an already longer dwell time. In the courtyard of about 13 year old boy was waiting for us then, we suspect the son of current tenants, of course without a word of English or German. What will you expect of a budding teenager. He graduated and on and mute led us through several rooms of a building wing. All in all very frugal and run-down. If you put the scales of the national trust of England you will disappointed badly. Save money, time and visit and would rather drive to the Château de la Roche-JAGU. Top in shot and very entertaining.

I don't agree with some reviews posted... I went in late June family. The owner handles almost alone of the gardens and the Castle, with the association. It forces the respect and the result is beautiful! I personally enjoyed the walk in the gardens, and the visit by the chatelier of 85, was... unique! He is passionate and makes us live a great time, we learn, it is cultivated, we laugh with him, and it does not count these hours... This castle is not quite known. Good luck to the owner and to the association. Go, nice surprise in perspective! Instagram louisevdt_ Louisevousdittout.fr

at the entrance, we explain that there is a full time gardener (against 20 a century ago) except that we learn (4 comments under it) that it is the owner of 85 who cares and then it is better why to 31-05 there is that the rhodos in flowers, why the lawn is mowed in some places and not in others why she or upon a little why herbs and garden waste are in immediate access to visitors. even in the immediate vicinity of the reception of volunteer team building. Too bad because the place is quiet, nice but €5 for not seeing a flower for a yellowed grass and herbs that rot, it's still pricey

the garden is in a sorry state, totally neglected. Access to the garden costs 5 euros, access to garden and Castle costs 10 euro. The castle is not separately. Even if the access was free, this is not worth the visit: 1 star is too much. heavily disillusioned Belgians!
