Pointe du Raz, Plogoff

#5 of 240 in Things to do in Finistere
A dramatic place with crashing waves and strong winds, Pointe du Raz is a promontory that extends into the Atlantic. The local Breton name for the point is Beg or Raz, and the name means "the end of the world." The lighthouse "La Vieille" is clearly visible from the rocks, and you can walk the breathtaking cliff top to view the perilous waters, the intriguing island, and charming fishing ports. We went to the Trepassee Bay. A very nice walk where you walk along the cliffs. Once arrived at the edge of the storm where you do you marvel. C is a place d beauty where you can go to the end of the world. You see at this point a stretch water you breath away. It is quiet and you hear just the noise of the waves that are projected against the cliffs. Our children enjoyed climbing in the rocks.

Beautiful views of the cliff and sea in this walk of a couple of kilometers. Comfortable shoes recommended. With buggy reasonable to do. Ample parking. At the beginning a few catering businesses, fine for a crepe, drink or ice cream after the walk. Beautiful Bay, Baie des Terrasses around the corner, with nice golf for the children to play in.

It's a beautiful place, which is worth the trip. The loop of raz is great to do. The price of parking is not excessive for the day and the view of the site. The shops are not imposed if we don't stop it is not required. I recommend this is place to landscapes.

Very nice site worth visiting! Parking is paid but not excessive! A shuttle and a path allow people with disabilities to access the tip (take the path left of the semaphore) without difficulty. A point information next to the shops will be able to guide you on hikes or walks.

On vacation in a charming little fisherman's House with blue shutters on the road of the crayfish to 1.5 km of the extreme tip of the tidal wave. Walks on the GR34 and views breathtaking on the old lighthouse. Our Lady of the shipwrecked sailors watch seasoned Cape. An unforgettable holiday in a place that has been able to keep its authenticity. The climate is harsh to Lescoff but the wild beauty that is deserved. I highly recommend the tip of the Raz was still untamed nature lovers.
