Where to stay in Bordeaux

Most hotels in Bordeaux sit conveniently located a stone's throw away from the train station. Look to Quinconces Square and Gambetta Square for high-end hotels. Those who prefer more budget-friendly accommodations may want to seek out a youth hostel--a relatively recent addition to the city. To secure a spot here, make sure to book ahead of time. In addition to hotels and hostels, choose from guest rooms in a typical Bordeaux house, or a family-friendly beachside campsite.

  • The site has been very well renovated, more lockers for storage, clean cabins. Baby swimmer with paddling pool and even a slide.

  • It's a very nice swimming stadium, in families with children and we have a traffic problem, it is very well served all types of transport nearby.

  • The hours are quite limited due to the large attendance at schools. When one has the chance that there are not too many people so we can swim quietly at his own pace but the cleanliness of the water was poor the last time I went there.

  • Great
  • Expensive if you aren't Pessac's resident
  • ok
  • Nickel !
  • Clean pool, with corridors of swimming well organized. Not recommended for people who want to just swim: €4,6 entry to return more than just the lengths! And € 7.25 admission during the summer, it becomes downright a rate to spend the day. Show prices at the entrance would be appreciable (that is illegally amazing that they may not be displayed), especially when you have the surprise of the change of rate in the entry box. Suddenly, at that price, worth better go its length elsewhere and leave the basins to the families.
