  • History of our architecture of the twentieth century there have and the fact that it is a city shows well the industrial will of a bygone era

  • The city Frugès - Le Corbusier is classified in the world heritage of UNESCO since July 2016, collective standings with 16 other works of the architect Le Corbusier. The town of Pessac acquired a "skyscraper" to 4 House, Le Corbusier Street: this show House is open to the visit and place of various exhibitions throughout the year. It is a wonderful experience that I would recommend.

  • The city is the testimony to what were the major movements of thought from the beginning of the 20th century on urban planning and its application to housing. Some of these houses dedicated to the improvement of the conditions of accommodation of the humblest are beautifully rehabilitated. A strong contrast to the heart of this island: the terraced cohabitation of a restored house and a totally abandoned and in ruins: a thrill of questions!
