  • My friend and I booked a wine tour and tasting and it was a fantastic experience! The property was beautiful and had so much history. Definitely recommend to visit.  more »
  • Workshop Assembly of the wine in the castle: a great time! The meeting begins with the guided tour, which is very interesting and very beautiful property! The winemaker makes us share his passion and we passed this knowledge on wine... The Castle, cellars, the cellars and all facilities are superb. The workshop with the oenologist is making 'his' wine with grapes at your disposal... At your make your bottle! The walk in the Park and the gardens after the workshop is well nice millennial olive trees, planted in the revolution at the Lebanon cedar... Yes a great time offered by my children!

  • Very nice welcoming staff on arrival the guide, even if she was a student, knew his work tour of the winery and a bit of history... of the Pope Clement, the religion and the wine tasting wine, one begins to Oenologists but it's a good time

  • It would be a pity not to visit this chateaux. In 30-50 minutes you can see all the details of this wonderful place. Excellent gardens and a thousand year olive tree. A delight.
  • Went to a wedding there yesterday, its an amazing and magical place. The most beautiful Château I've ever seen.
  • Great tour and explanation of how wines are made at the chateau. Our guide was very knowledgeable and enthusiastic and we appreciated the lack of any pressure to buy wines at the end of the tour. Beautiful grounds and the Pape-Clement flagship wine is very good. Would recommend.
  • Beautiful beautiful chateau! A bit pricey but the wines are also amazing. Worth spending the money in a tour.
  • Good wine makers. Leading in wine inovation and wine offers. I would improve the degustation experience.

Where to stay in Bordeaux

Most hotels in Bordeaux sit conveniently located a stone's throw away from the train station. Look to Quinconces Square and Gambetta Square for high-end hotels. Those who prefer more budget-friendly accommodations may want to seek out a youth hostel--a relatively recent addition to the city. To secure a spot here, make sure to book ahead of time. In addition to hotels and hostels, choose from guest rooms in a typical Bordeaux house, or a family-friendly beachside campsite.
