Chateau Val-Joanis, Pertuis

#1 of 9 in Things to do in Pertuis
Built where an ancient Roman villa once lay, Chateau Val-Joanis is a winery famous all over France. Wines produced here are of AOC classification and the French Ministry of Culture has named it one of the “Remarkable Gardens of France”. The building is decorated with the coat of arms of Jean de Joanis, the secretary of the King Louis III of Naples. The estate was occupied by the Arnaud family, who kept it until the 17th century. Come visit, and taste the perfect mixture of ingredients dissipate in your mouth. It certainly is a world-class experience. We were welcomed. The garden is in three parts, all so beautiful and different one than the other, it is very well maintained and just serve as a framework for weddings and other receptions. Their wines are drinking, I will say that they are very good.

If we are near, we store a visit to this wine chateau never about. Taste is never an issue. The Tradition Blanc this year is a fabulous but affordable wine.
