Chateau Val-Joanis, Pertuis

Categories: Wineries & Vineyards, Food & Drink
Inspirock Rating:
4.1/5 based on 40+ reviews on the web
Built where an ancient Roman villa once lay, Chateau Val-Joanis is a winery famous all over France. Wines produced here are of AOC classification and the French Ministry of Culture has named it one of the “Remarkable Gardens of France”. The building is decorated with the coat of arms of Jean de Joanis, the secretary of the King Louis III of Naples. The estate was occupied by the Arnaud family, who kept it until the 17th century. Come visit, and taste the perfect mixture of ingredients dissipate in your mouth. It certainly is a world-class experience. • Went to 3 years to participate in the evenings of screening of film Jean Florette, Manon des Sources, tasting very well organized, silky and very pleasant wine. A pity that the projection of film are more topical.
