  • Of course, the building is beautiful from the outside and very well preserved, but at what price? Because of repeated war destruction, much of his initial, Interior and exterior architecture, as well as interior decorations, is no longer present, which strongly limits the visual interest of the visit... There is imagination, as is please to point that out and repeat the great guide, however. But imagine for 1½ hours, it's complicated. Overall disappointed so. Icing on the cake: the municipal police in Perpignan which makes waiting in the parking lot closest to the monument, and which cite from the 1st minute passed to the parking meter... Nice, right?

  • Our guide was very exciting: a real slice of unknown history of we, Parisian small... Superb restoration of the largest part of the Castle. Price very reasonable for seniors and youth.

  • Very nice visit to the heart of the history of the region. Special mention for the ascent of the tower with breathtaking views all Perpignan. Caution to the wind!

  • Lovely sculptures around the grounds and a relaxing herb garden to awaken your senses. Great for little ones to run around and explore.
  • Nice from outside, it's almost empty inside and the tower is closed to public access
  • The very helpful Tourist Office lady suggested that we visited the palace of the former king of the isle of Majorca. Used to visiting French Chateaux we were expecting something from a royal palace. The outside is an uninteresting stone wall which -we hoped- that would hide something worth seeing. After a walk through a dark hallway (and after paying an entrance fee) you enter the inside of the palace. Well it was actually the same wall, but now from the inside. Some uninteresting rooms with an art exhibition and a chapel that was not worth noticing concluded the visit. Not worth your time
  • Spectacular place to visit
  • It was closed last Saturday afternoon, no info why.
