Cite medievale, Perouges
(4.5/5 based on 600+ reviews on the web)
Cite medievale is a marvel of medieval architecture that has its origins during the reign of Charles I. The tower and walls surrounding the city still stand as a reminder of days past. Wander the fortress walls, the same way the guards did so many years ago. Some houses built as early as the 12th century still remain. See Cite medievale and all Perouges has to offer by arranging your trip with our Perouges trip builder.

  • When you walk in this small village, we do a leap of several centuries in time. The stone houses, the streets paved with pebbles transport us to the middle ages. Strongly discouraged high-heeled shoes!

  • It is always a pleasure to (re) - come to of Pérouges, in the summer when it's crowded in the fall amid the stones and colourful vegetation. In winter, when it's cold. Or in the spring, when the countryside green. There is a timeless these steep streets. Thank you for taking so much care of your beautiful village.
