  • Small but nice museum. Use especially the English audio guide for a small fee but is indispensable. Enjoy to see how smart and creative the Romans were in the 1st and 2nd century.

  • Upon arrival, the tone is set from the outside, this museum is huge! Once inside we have been blown away. The Museum is built in the form of a structure that covers the archaeological site of a gigantic Domus of the city. Everything revolves through gateways around the remains. You have the pleasure of visiting the site and discover the different objects found during the excavations of the city. A beautiful collection with pretty pieces. The video perfectly explains the context and evolution of the domus. The temporary exhibition "They're food" those Romans who had been inaugurated the previous day was really good. Educational, presented with humour and quality. A must see! A very nice Museum shop where we found our happiness as well as books and reconstructed objects. We want to emphasize the quality of hospitality and the friendliness of the lady who was standing at the entrance to the Museum that day. Thank you very much. This museum is a MUST!
