  • Probably the only truly wheelchair accessible cave, this under ground stream was discovered only recently (1995) and opened to the public a couple of years later. This has allowed the management of the cave to put in place strict sustainability regulations in place from the beginning. So no late 1800 graffiti here, and infrastructure that makes it probably the only truly wheelchair accessible cave. That said, the cave does have its share of real attractions, it was formed by a small underground river forming a tunnel like space. The limestone shapes are very varied, including some eccentrically sideways growing ones. It is a relatively small and therefore intimate cave that can be visited as part of a (one hour) tour only. It is not the ‘most impressive’ or ‘largest, highest, deepest of anything’ but within half an hour of Hautefort a very interesting way to spend an hour or two. Pick-nick space available outside.
  • Nice Cave - first time seen by us - it is hard to get there if you dont know where exacly it is - the guide tour have hard accent in english (not easy to understand)
  • Very beautiful cave with mandatory guide. Beautiful natural form are to be discovered. Provide at least a sweater even in summer, because there is an invigorating freshness

  • Very worth it, impressive these Eccentrics you on few other places. Lift and relatively flat paths through which the cave also is suitable for wheelchairs and strollers. Audio tour in Dutch for 1 euro.
