  • Fantastic castle being repaired by workmen in period costumes using medieval tools. How can it get better than that.
  • It is remarkable by its geographical situation but above all it makes us relive our medieval history. Fine example of military architecture at the top of the Rocky Mountain, it offers a wonderful view 360 degrees. Through animations and guided tours we take pleasure to discover this historic fortress.

  • Visit of the castle of Penne so family. One negative point, the website explains that it is closed in the morning, while it turns on the spot that it is open... Another point, it is true that access with pushchairs is difficult, but hey it's a castle of the middle age, before we knew that access was a little tricky. For the rest a very nice tour, the efforts of pedagogy of the owners. There are good number of panels that provide substantial explanations. We feel a desire to pass explanations, and it is an effort that must be welcomed. In addition, the view, the village, and friendly to the person at the counter. In the end I recommend the visit, with the kids, but from 4 years.

  • The village of Penne is a part of my childhood, a place dear to my heart... Thank you for having the "folly" to restore his castle. This atypical place deserves to be known. Penne is a captivating place, of indefinable magic.

  • We visited the Castle at medieval feasts on 4 August and, despite the heat, it was a great afternoon. Workshops, presentations and fencing battles carried out by the excellent cast of Petit Masri, which we regaled by his knowledge and culture of the middle ages.
