  • Take advantage of the low season to visit in small groups a painted cave is a bet which is completely filled to Cougnac: a guide knowledgeable about his subject that leaves plenty of room for interaction during the visit. Smiling, attentive to security measures essential to the good preservation of the site and attentive to the visitors questions. The cave is superb, the designs of a high standard and the geological features of the site are also remarkable: a concentration of impressive stalagmites and stalactites and a highlighted discreet that respects the site.

  • Never seen any of these prehistoric cave paintings, so it was easy to be impressed. The tour was great, with a very attentive guide. The group was entirely French, but the guide always translated for me. Besides the cave paintings the cave system in itself is formidable. The tour lasts for 1.5 hours and it's too expensive, I think. When you're expecting to something really really impressive, then this isn't the place to go.
  • We had a very kind young lady as our guide. The tour was in French, but she tried her best to translate everything for us non French people. Also, you can't beat the sites.
  • Really interesting cave art in the middle of the French countryside, with lovely walks surrounding it.
  • one hour of real emotion and humility faced with such beauty. This site deserves more than a detour. more ' our guide was very pro and very affordable
