  • I recently had the opportunity to re discover the Museum of Fine Arts of Pau and this with great pleasure. The site and the exhibition rooms are well worth the exhibited works. Architecturally, the building itself is representative of the style of the 1930s. The paintings and sculptures begin in the 16th century and ends on the floor with contemporary works. Beyond a few paintings by great masters including 10 works not to be missed, and for which you will be given a leaflet at reception (El Greco, Rubens, Corot, Degas...) you can admire several regionalist paintings. Really a place not to be missed, count 2 to 3 hours! Visit free on 1st Sunday of the month

  • It is true that there are works from several eras. But the variety of works still allows to wander his imagination with approval. More when I went there was a temporary exhibition of a painter from the region whose name is Duarte and my faith makes things pretty.
