Where to stay in Paris

Each of the city’s 20 arrondissements, or districts, has a personality all its own. If you prefer high-end accommodations and to be in the middle of the action, look for lodging in the 1st through the 4th arrondissements. For more affordable lodging and access to major metro lines, try the 12th. The Oberkampf area of the 11th arrondissement has an edgier, more hip vibe. For easy access to tourist sites,  the 16th is within a stone’s throw of the Arc de Triomph and the Eiffel Tower, and the 17th is within walking distance to the Champs-Elysées. Avoid the 18th, 19th, and 20th, because these can be dangerous, especially if you’re not familiar with the city.

  • A very nice place! We went there on a Sunday morning in the Sun, it was very quiet. In front of the sacred heart was the crowd and behind in this park it was quiet: a nice contrast!

  • This square is located behind the Basilica of the sacred heart, which is accessible by the street of the good. It has the advantage of being close to the bustle of Montmartre, while being preserved noises, prevailing in front of the Basilica and the place du Tertre. It's good a little quiet!. However there are places fairly well-defined with a few green spaces without originality, benches to sit and a small amphitheatre. A space game of petanque, and games for children are fairly isolated at the end of the square, and down below, allowing to have calm in other parts of the place. The square, we got a view of the North East of Paris.

  • Very nice park beside Sacrée Coeur. Perfect for a picnic
  • Get a Montmartre picture few others will have! Quiet PARC, ideal with kids or to sit down for a pique nique.
  • I love this park. I sat next to two nuns discussing the flowers in front of us. And watched as students filmed inside the tunnel of shrubbery. This place was quaint and relaxing and forever stuck in my mind.
  • Beutiful small park, out of the touristy hassle in front of the basilica
  • Don't miss out
