Take a guided tour of the Flamboyant Gothic tower, where you can climb the 300 stairs to the top for great views of Paris and some interesting historical information. At the base, notice the statue of Blaise Pascal, a 17th-century scientist and philosopher rumored to have conducted experiments on atmospheric pressure from the top of this tower. • Thanks to the combination of the words and the Arts I could visit this amazing site. The tour is guided and a limited number of participants is accepted. It is strongly recommended to book his ticket from their site. They still retain some seats for direct access. Almost 300 steps and an "altitude" of 53 meters later and you have a great view and central Paris: I love! The staircase spiral staircase is cramped with markets of different heights. Two breaks during the ascent were made by the speaker to explain visited rooms. Good visit!

  • The tower is the only remaining part of an ancient Church. It now stands in the middle of a green area.

  • A beautiful Jardin located just off rue de Rivoli. This is a great place to stroll, picnic, or sit and read a good book. Don't miss the flowering trees on a sunny spring day, they're spectacular!
  • Very quiet garden in which there are plenty seating possibilities. In this garden you can sit and relax during shopping time. The garden is near a lot of big shops. Although the roads are at the other side of the fences, the garden and it's trees and bushes does a great job at protecting the horrible sound and smell.
  • The tower is the only remaining part of an old church. It is open for visits in the summer. I recommend the effort in going up 300 steps. You will learn more about the history of the tower, and see views from the top that rival the towers of Notre Dame. Well worth the visit! Plus the guides do an excellent job!
  • It was here that I received my last stamp for my Camino Santiago de Compoststella Certificate.. This was the original starting point in France for the Camino on the way to Spain; Notre Dame de Paris being the next. There is a green hut with Jean luc who is very kind and helpful. He took time to take us to the other side of the Park to show us the shell of St. Jacques and explained the symbolism of the statues on the tower. A wonderful and lasting experience!
  • You now what i love the Saint-Jacgues Tower it is so romantic.
