  • Hroooeee Mooof-tahr, i think you're a street that sates any foodie's foodie! I am so impressed by one of the oldest streets in Paris.. I walked it from its base allll the way to Clovis, on my way to the Pantheon. The main artery thru the Latin Quarter, this was a seminal Roman road for transit to the SE; too, the Bièvre River flowed across, and a village, St. Marcel, flourished, which caused this street also to follow suit. This bakery here, with all of its glorious displays and fresh baguettes facing the street, does not disappoint in any way. It is simply amazing. In the centre of the Latin Quarter, 5th arrondisement, please stop by and try ANYTHING here. Baguette sauvage, YUMMMM.. had with St marcellin cheese bought practically next door, same side of the cobblestoned street. Very popular and constant stream of patrons.
