  • A charm of the street! Restaurants, grocery stores, souvenirs, typical food ... all in a unique and charming place! Very close to the Pantheon.

  • Bars, restaurants, bakeries, confectioneries, wines, cheeses and a lot of excitement. All this outdoors with balconies on the sidewalk. This is the rue Mouffetard, a street where you you feel good to just pair for her. I went back 3 x at different times, all with its peculiarities ... Recommend!

  • HA the rue Mouffetard, crossed one of the oldest streets of Paris may the first in the history of sin track. A magical street full of beautiful windows (creperies, glaciers, Greek sandwiches...). The market there is superb. a special atmosphere for a street in the latin quarter of 5.

  • I love Rue Mouffetard. It is a lovely and lively street day or night and is partially closed to cars. Lots of great food shops, bars, brasseries, casual restaurants, and great people watching up and down this half mile (or so) stretch. Easily accessible by foot or Metro, it's worth a stroll. If you find yourself in Paris for the summer solstice and Fête de la Musique, Rue Mouffetard is definitely a decent destination.
  • Beautiful street with lot of typical french markets where you can buy great food, drinks and more.
  • Fresh local fruit almost all year round!
  • Nice Market, nice food stands, good for an afternoon strole - but not a must.
  • For those who want to discover the real Paris

Where to stay in Paris

Each of the city’s 20 arrondissements, or districts, has a personality all its own. If you prefer high-end accommodations and to be in the middle of the action, look for lodging in the 1st through the 4th arrondissements. For more affordable lodging and access to major metro lines, try the 12th. The Oberkampf area of the 11th arrondissement has an edgier, more hip vibe. For easy access to tourist sites,  the 16th is within a stone’s throw of the Arc de Triomph and the Eiffel Tower, and the 17th is within walking distance to the Champs-Elysées. Avoid the 18th, 19th, and 20th, because these can be dangerous, especially if you’re not familiar with the city.
