In addition to beautiful objects, we learned quite a few things with the vendors that sell unusual things. Today, I have the feeling to find people who are simply trying to sell anything (waste, say it...), to try to make a few pennies. Too bad.show original
Divers choses, livres, jouets, tableaux, et autres objets plus ou moins insolites. Mais bon, prix trop élevé, aucun intérêt, si juste une bonne promenade.Various things, books, toys, paintings, and other objects more or less unusual. But hey, price too high, no interest, so just a good walk.show original
Nice market that was bigger than expected. Most sellers spoke some English even though I tried my very limited French. Items tend to be over priced like the rest of Paris but well worth a visit and possibly find something unique - there's a lot of antique knick knacks including much with African or oriental origins to. On Sunday there was also a nice market of various fruit, veg, meat and cheese stalls.
It's a very ordinary flea market - if you don't go to flea markets, this is not worth the trip. There is about 2% interesting items. We went in the rain and many vendors weren't even protecting their offerings from the rain - very strange. It is an interesting scene and everyone is very friendly. But mostly, it seemed like just old attic junk the French were trying to sell.
Marie ROZIERThere are discs, vintage clothes, furniture... Porte de Vanves flea market is full of surprises! It is nice to be bargain hunting the weekend matinees. More modest but equally interesting as that of St Ouen, this market is worth a visit!show original
