  • It is moored at port (Port) to say instead of estuaries and bays, pulling water from the main stream of the river Seine, made. (On the map on the Canal Saint-Martin, is not followed by the flow of water) is a narrow pass ships one at about 500 m from the eastern tip of the Ile Saint-Louis exit width 50 m and 500 m North-South strip of port. Crossed the edge rests somewhere South, pedestrians and bicycles only. And mooring small cruise ships and privately owned pleasure boats, including lot, one side was relaxed, Boardwalk and park landscape. See the statue of the Angel of the Golden Harbour North along the straight line and place de la Bastille, in the top of the tower. * The photo is by the year 2015.

  • In the heart of Paris, close to the place des Vosges marais, a place to live very exotic. On the wharf and the place of the Bastille, this is the tumult. And as soon as you go through the gate and down on port, it's quiet, the life of the River, the village "Gauls" atmosphere.

  • A nice walk between gardens and boats in Paris, it is not worth to go very far to find a change of scenery. We can even reach the banks of the Seine or visit the St Martin canal boat.

  • A city harbour in a beautiful setting. Even though it is in the heart of Paris, there is something relaxing and soothing about this place because it feels like a peaceful escape from the big city. The water is clear as day after they cleaned it a couple of years ago, and if you're by boat. it's a great base to boat up the Canal towards the Bassin de la Vilette or head to the Seine southwards. The harbour facilities are decent and the people at the capitainerie are very friendly.
  • A pleasant place to visit and wait for your boat trip to begin
  • Good look
  • Lovely playground and stroll
  • Great place to visit!

Where to stay in Paris

Each of the city’s 20 arrondissements, or districts, has a personality all its own. If you prefer high-end accommodations and to be in the middle of the action, look for lodging in the 1st through the 4th arrondissements. For more affordable lodging and access to major metro lines, try the 12th. The Oberkampf area of the 11th arrondissement has an edgier, more hip vibe. For easy access to tourist sites,  the 16th is within a stone’s throw of the Arc de Triomph and the Eiffel Tower, and the 17th is within walking distance to the Champs-Elysées. Avoid the 18th, 19th, and 20th, because these can be dangerous, especially if you’re not familiar with the city.
