  • The basin of the Arsenal, a special corner in Paris where the Parisian as the tourist have the impression of living in a parallel world to the sea. Water, boats anchored at the port or arriving sneaking to the lock level, you'll see. Birds also with the seagulls who won, they, the city. As if the sea is not enough, you will also have your little corner of campaign at Arsenal with gardens and... docks to pedestrians. A nice cocktail to make a haven of scenery of this times of Paris.

  • We loved the atmosphere at this harbour close to Bastille. It feels like a hidden gem as there are not a lot of people/tourists. We enjoyed some drinks on the terrace. A good place for having a calm b...  more »
  • We saw him going of our hotel, close to the Gare de Lyon, to the Saint Louis Île. It is perpendicular to the Seine River, higher than him thanks to a few gates. Within this channel, less than a hundred meters wide by long 500, are moored boats, mostly for pleasure and sport. In the tip close to the Seine is the Quai de la Rapée, having over a bridge where there are trains from line 5 of the metro. At the other end the "Colonne de Juillet" (column of July) we saw of the place de la Bastille. Formerly it was a channel of the river Seine and more than that, a pantanal, as the entire area (that is called Le Marais) was connected to another channel, the Saint Martin, further to the North, but Haussmann made cover that communication with the current Bv. • Super endroit
  • It is a pleasant and flowery place to wander the waterfront from the Bastille. It is still more the summer where you can stroll along a flowery stroll.
