  • The origin of the name of the Alma bridge is a place name "battle of Alma" won the French allied forces during the Crimean War, Nightingale took an active part. It was stone to its completion in 1856, the battle was now has a neat shaped steel bridge has been adapted. Batou Monsieur embarkation is to close the bridge.

  • On exiting the station, you find yourself on this bridge and its flame surrounded by flowers and photos dedicated to Lady Diana, who, just below this bridge, was killed with Dodi Alfayed during his lifetime. FROM HERE, you can enjoy a wonderful view of the Eiffel Tower and is a stone's throw from the Foundation Yves Saint Laurent (a must for lovers of fashion and brand) and the museo de la ville in Paris, the latter, inter alia, free and beautiful. Paris sera toujours Paris! profitez-bien;))

  • Bridge to the East of the Eiffel Tower. In Paris there are many elaborate stone or steel, bridges, 4 lanes + footpath on one side new great bridge is fancy so much in. There is a large statue to defend a bridge at the base of the pier, around Paris, and is said. Now's dive is a dive underground roadway across the bridge to the North in the Princess Diana was killed. Anyone who thinks the monument was built in memory of Princess Diana in life-size replicas of torches presented by France to the United States 'statue of liberty' statue has its "flame of freedom" is here, but also many. So there is a huge glass doors made of glass artist Rene Lalique, Immeuble art nouveau (Art-Nouveau building) facing north of the bridge, "Albert, Duke of Plaza Street (Cours Albert 1er)" as well as Those interested should look at!

  • Was curious to see the man on the bridge that the Parisian use to measure the height of the Seine. In other words how likely it is the the river will flood it's banks. The walk was nice to get there. Add it to your list of must sees in Paris.
  • Walking over the bridge to take a nice walk on the rivet lots to see when the weather not cold .
  • Beautiful river scenery here. Time to relax and take it all in.
  • Pont de l'Alma (Alma Bridge in English) is a road bridge in Paris across the Seine. It was named to commemorate the Battle of Alma during the Crimean War, in which the Ottoman-Franco-British alliance achieved victory over the Russian army, on 20 September 1854. Construction of an arch bridge took place between 1854 and 1856. It was designed by Paul-Martin Gallocher de Lagalisserie and was inaugurated by Napoleon III on 2 April 1856. Each side of both of the two piers was decorated with a statue of military nature: a Zouave and a grenadier by Georges Diébolt, and a skirmisher and an artilleryman by Arnaud. Unique point of interest. The site that we can remember Lady Diana.
  • A spot by the Shine river, fullbof life all around. Eiffle is just a few minutes away....!
