  • It's historically important because of Ladi Di's accident. But it's also a functional place, very well-mantained. It's likely to have a bit traffic, as many other places in Paris.
  • The bridge itself, actually a reconstruction of the first bridge that is falling, has nothing exceptional. He is best known by the statue of the zouave, which serves as an indicator of flood of the Seine. When you're on the bridge itself, it must really look to see something. So better look at the bridge from the banks. Note that the original bridge had three other statues, transferred to Vincennes, Dijon and the Aisne. Close proximity, has a life-size model of the flame of the Statue of liberty, and also the tunnel where Lady Diana died. The walk between the Alma bridge and the Alexandre III bridge back to the center of Paris, and is enjoyable to do

  • Beautiful view of two of Paris' best sights: The Eiffel Tower and the Seine. In autumn, with the trees lining the banks of the Seine changing colours, it is even more breathtaking.
  • Almost midnight. The winds are rising, as is the cold. The streets get emptier and emptier as people hurry home to their loved ones. In that almost desolate bridge, the beacon that is the Eiffel tower stands tall and imposing. And incredible view. You haven't lived if you haven't been in winter Paris.
  • An iconic bridge crossing the Seine, about a 5 minute walk from our Parisian home. On the side close to Avenue de New York you can find the memorial flame in honor of Lady D's death.
  • The view from this bridge is stellar. The cold breeze from the river with the sunset and eiffel tour is mesmerising!!!!
  • One of important bridge in Paris famous for the replica of the Statue of Liberty flame and the Zouave used by people to measure the Seine's flood (but not by the official services). Unfortunately as well famous for the death of Lady Diana.
